Jammu & Kashmir school education department has ordered suspension of 10 teachers of five Ganderbal schools

The Jammu & Kashmir school education department has ordered suspension of 10 teachers of five Ganderbal schools that recorded below 20 percent pass result in the class 10th examination declared last month.
The schools are: government boys higher secondary school Wakoora, government high school Wakoora, government high school Sonamarg, government high school Sumbal Balla and government boys high school Gugjigund.
Gugjigund school recorded zero percent results in social science subject.
Sonamarg school has recorded 12.25% results in English, 12.25% in Mathematics, 12.50% in science and 12.25% in social sciences.
Government high school Wakoora has recorded 6.25% in social science and Sumbal Balla has recorded 15.30% in mathematics.
Chief education officer Ganderbal Muhammad Afzal Sheikh said the suspended teachers teach these subjects in which students have performed badly.
“Increment of these teachers has also been stopped,” Sheikh said.
