Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mohammad Anwar Khan lashed out at Congress party for levelling baseless allegation against the party, saying Congress has misused the Government machinery for the last seven decades and is now frustrated.
Anwar strongly reacted against the remarks of the senior Congress leader that the State administration has become a tool in the hands of BJP.
“Congress has the experience of misusing the Government machinery for the last 7 decades while being in power, that is why the dynastic party is now levelling the same allegations against BJP,” Anwar said.
He said it is the Congress which interfered in every matter in Jammu and Kashmir. “We (BJP) will never indulge in such things. Our motive is that the deserving common people should get their rights,” he said.
BJP leader said that Mohammad Maqbool Bhat and Muhammad Afzal Guru were hanged when the Congress was in Government both at the State and Centre. “Who made Mohammad Master Yousuf the (militant leader) Syed Salahuddin, BJP or Congress?” Anwar asked. “Why Congress levels these allegations against BJP?”
Anwar said the “ridiculous” and “baseless” remarks made by Congress reveal the frustration of this dynastic party which the people of Jammu and Kashmir have completely rejected for its corruption, mismanagement and misgovernance for the last seven decades. KG
